*It’s time for some more apologizing that includes Ariana Grande … again. But this time, it’s from the bishop who officiated Aretha franklin’s funeral. Bishop Charles H. Ellis III has apologized Friday to the singer for how he touched her onstage and a joke he made about her name.

If you was watching, you saw the bishop awkwardly greet Grande on stage after she performed “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman.” Images of the moment showed Ellis’ hand holding Grande well above her waist, with his fingers pressing against one side of her chest.

He apologized in an interview with The Associated Press at the cemetery where Franklin was interred late Friday.

“It would never be my intention to touch any woman’s breast. … I don’t know I guess I put my arm around her,” Ellis said. “Maybe I crossed the border, maybe I was too friendly or familiar but again, I apologize.”

He said he hugged all the performers during Friday’s eight-hour service.

“I hug all the female artists and the male artists,” Ellis said. “Everybody that was up, I shook their hands and hugged them. That’s what we are all about in the church. We are all about love.”

“The last thing I want to do is to be a distraction to this day. This is all about Aretha Franklin,” the preacher added

Many people posted close-up images of the moment on Twitter, tagging it #RespectAriana.

Ellis also apologized to Grande, her fans and Hispanic community for making a joke about seeing her name on the program and thinking it was a new item on the Taco Bell menu.

“I personally and sincerely apologize to Ariana and to her fans and to the whole Hispanic community,” Ellis said. “When you’re doing a program for nine hours you try to keep it lively, you try to insert some jokes here and there.”

Ellis’ touching of Grande overshadowed some criticism earlier in the ceremony concerning the short dress Grande wore for her performance. Numerous people posted criticisms online that the dress was too short for church.

“#ArianaGrande don’t know the below the knee rule for the pulpit in the black church. Somebody hand her a lap hanky and a choir robe. Bless her heart,” tweeted one, Tenisha Taylor Bell.

*When Nicki Minaj and her ex Safaree Samuels engaged in a war or words last week on social media, she decided to expose Tyga’s personal hair struggle by revealing that her ex went to the same hair restoration surgeon as the rapper.

Samuels quickly fact-checked her allegation, noting that he and Tyga didn’t go to the same doctor but they had their procedures done the next day.

“1st off Me and tyga didn’t go to the same dr. We did it the same day. Diff doctors,” Samuels wrote on Twitter, adding: “Listen I don’t know if this has to do with 1st week sales but you need to finish your zen. And don’t talk about vh1 checks cuz the way you’re acting it’s like your auditioning to be on LHH.”

Peep his tweet below.

For the most part, Tyga has remained quiet about the allegation but he eventually confirmed that he also had a hair restoration procedure when he posted the contact information of surgeon Craig Ziering on his Twitter page.

“The [plug]. Tellem Tyga sent you,” he tweeted. Photos of his before and after hair quickly made the rounds on social media, according to Yahoo.

The outlet then spoke to the doctor Tyga endorsed about the most popular hairline among his male patients.

“I’m  known for doing a lot of celebrities’ hair restoration procedures,” he tells Yahoo Lifestyle. “I’ve probably done more African-American patients than anyone in the world.”

When asked about Tyga’s social media plug, Dr. Ziering noted, “I’m apparently ‘his guy.’”

*Founded in 1985 by the late Lu Vason, The Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo has traveled to many cities and is known as the world’s only touring African American rodeo. The rodeo employs men and women of all ages, not only as rodeo participants, but as animal handlers, stable hands, cooks, and a large variety of administrative tasks.

Student workers often obtain scholarships for college and it is known throughout the youth that a good rodeo performance caught on tape could land them a full ride at one of the many historically black colleges and universities.  That means hard work can land them, not only fun, healthy habits, but there is a potential to set them on a positive path for success in life.

The Bill Pickett Rodeo website features not only information about their current champions, but also information on all the events and how black cowboys have affected the sport.

According to the website, “Annually, dust will fly as spectators cheer for their favorite Black Cowboys and Cowgirls competing during thrilling Calf Ropin’, exhilarating Bareback Ridin’, Bull Doggin, Ladies Barrel Racin’, Junior Barrel Racin’, Ladies Steer Undercoatin’, and gripping Bull Ridin.’”

The Bill Pickett Rodeo Series moves to Atlanta, GA on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at 7:30 pm and Sunday, August 5, 2018, at 3:30 pm at the Georgia International Horse Park.  Following that, the Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo will be moving on to the DC-Virginia area with it’s ‘Rodeo for Kidz Sake’ on Friday, September 21, 2018, at 10:00 AM. The Bill Pickett Championship Rodeo will continue in the DC-Virginia area on Saturday, September 22, 2018, 1:30 pm & 7:30 pm at The Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro, MD.

The Star of this year’s rodeo was this unnamed bull.  Aside from the flagrant flaunting of his personality, this bull possessed a white stripe along his nose, short horns, and glossy black fur.

One thing to remember, these animals, despite their great strength and fearsome looks, are peaceful beasts who don’t want to hurt anyone, but sometimes accidents happen.

Sometimes, like with the bull with the white stripe along his nose, the animals decide not to follow the traditional directions and show a bit of its own personality.

Here a cowboy ropes a stubborn bull.  This bull decided that he’d had his fun and peacefully returned to the stable with the other bulls.

When the same cowboy tried to lasso the bull with the white stripe, the bull turned toward the cowboy and faked a charge resulting in a quick retreat and dropping of the rope.

It should be noted that every time this particular cowboy twirled his lasso, it found its way around the neck of some loose animal, but the majority of the time, especially with the smaller animals and horses, they were ‘wrangled’ or guided into the stable adjacent the arena floor without the need of ropes, whips or any type of aggressive actions.

Surely this bull has a name, known by his trainers and owners, however before the EURWeb staff could get back to ask his name, he charged and bucked a trainer seriously injuring his leg.  The trainer will be ok, and paramedics were quick to respond after his wife and co-workers managed to secure the animal.

Playing with the animals, as this trainer learned, is not always advised, even though it is necessary to get the bull, and other animals, to do what is needed with the least amount of contact.  The animals are well trained and know where to go.

*Aretha Franklin, the Queen of Soul’s home going service can best be described as a combination of a revival, political rally, motivational talk, musical tributes, roast and of course worship. Presenters from the world of entertainment, sports, politics, business, and just friends came together on one stage to celebrate not only Franklin’s musical talents but her activism and the many lives she touched.

Franklin died Aug. 16 of pancreatic cancer at the age of 76.

The service held at Greater Grace Temple was presided over by Bishop Charles H. Ellis, 111 who is also a long time family friend. Lining the street to the Church on Seven Mile road was a sea of over 100 Pink Cadillacs. Ellis and his wife Crisette Ellis thought up the idea. The cars arrived post arrival of Franklin, but as the funeral procession left for the cemetery they were four deep. Cristine Ellis is national sales for Mary Kay Cosmetic. So she didn’t have to go far to find owners of Pink Cadillacs. The company uses pink colored Cadillacs as a sales incentive for reaching what it calls “Grand Achiever” level of sales.

They came from across the nation suited in their signature outfits. They even had a special section in the Church. But there was some vintage Cadillacs on display. Bringing your car meant you would get entrance into the funeral.

The day kicked-off with the fourth and final viewing of the week which was held between 8:30-9:30AM – Two days of public at The Charles H. Wright Museum on Tuesday and Wednesday followed by another public viewing on Thursday at New Bethel Church. The Queen had clothing change for each of these viewing. For this final viewing she wore a gold lame dress and her gold Christian Louboutine Shoes – the red soles. Ever a signature of a Diva. Everything from the arrangement of the flowers that surround the 24 karat gold plated casket, which was similar to the one of Michael Jackson and James Brown, to the arrangements of the pastel colored roses that surround the casket was flawless.

In the foyer of the church attendees had the chance to see to floral arrangements sent by stars from around the World. The Miracles and The Four Tops arrangement was very dramatic, Mariah Carey’s White Roses formed into a cross was much photographed. Rod Steward, Elton John, Barbara Streisand, and Jimmy Fallon are just a few of the major stars from around the world who sent flowers. Oddly enough the arrangement sent on behalf of Diana Ross was more suitable as a tabletop. Franklin’s casket was surrounded by pastel roses and a Bleeding Heart from her grandchildren.

*Motherhood has made Cardi B realize that money isn’t everything and as a result, she has backed out of her highly lucrative tour plans with Bruno Mars. That’s all well and good for her, but for Bruno, it’s a problem. A BIG PROBLEM.

Needless to say, Bruno Mars, like everyone else, was shocked at the news. And being without an opening act, puts the upcoming tour in jeopardy, to say the least.

Sources connected to Bruno’s tour — slated to kick off in Sept. — told TMZ that he’s without an opener and, so far, there has been no replacement made for Cardi. Bruno’s people were supposedly burning up the phones Friday … starting conversations with reps from a number of musicians but nothing is close to being locked down.

Digging deeper, the report says Cardi’s decision to back out of the tour has created some issues … dancers were hired, costumes made and stage backdrops built.

As we reported, Cardi B realized se was in too deep and made the decision to tell Bruno she could do the tour because she “underestimated this whole mommy thing.” She explained to fans she needs more time to recover and isn’t ready to part with her daughter, Kulture, while she goes on the road.

Bruno Mars responded with a heartfelt message of support and understanding, adding …

“We love you Cardi and we will play Bodak Yellow every night in your honor.”

In other Cardi B news, The Bronx born  rapper just showed off her post-baby bod for the first time since she and Offset welcomed their daughter, Kulture, into the world on July 10. And it goes without question that Cardi is looking real good parked on the hood of her new Lamborghinian.

Speaking of which. It doesn’t hurt she and her hubby are also flaunting 2 hot new Lamborghinis. She captioned the pic above, “Blessed & Gifted … Official Lamb Owners.”

*Former Spice Girl Mel B. appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” this week to clarify recent reports that she is planning to enter rehab to treat her demons.

“My therapy changed a little bit because I was in a very intense relationship, which you can all read about in my book,” Mel (born Melanie Brown) told guest host Lea Michele in reference to her upcoming memoir, “Brutally Honest,” due out in November.

As noted by Billboard, the ”America’s Got Talent” judge explained that she’s been in therapy since her father was diagnosed with cancer nine years ago, but the treatment changed a bit because of the “very intense relationship” she was in with ex-husband Stephen Belafonte.

“But no, I’m not an alcoholic. No, I’m not a sex addict. I was with the same person [Belafonte] for 10 years, and that was quite a turmoil, very intense,” she told Michele.

“I address a lot of those issues [in the book] and did kind of have to ease my pain. And I do suffer a lot from PTSD.”

Brown reportedly said in a recent British tabloid interview that she decided to seek treatment at “proper” therapy program in the U.K. because she found it to be quite traumatic writing the book and re-living some of the painful chapters of her life.

*”Walk On By,” “Don’t Make Me Over,” “A House Is Not a Home” and many more songs have been the backdrop to a lot of folks’ lives either when they first debuted on the radio or when they have been sampled for newer tracks.

Those songs belongs to Grammy winner Dionne Warwick and fans of her music gathered in Beverly Hills at the Paley Centre for Media to celebrate the legend who has been in the game for 5 decades. There was a special screening presented by “PBS, My Music Presents: Dionne Warwick – Then Came You.”

The special showcased Warwick’s music career from her first meeting with songwriters Hal David and Burt Bacharach to becoming a U.S. ambassador of health for her support of AIDS awareness and featured Gladys Knight, Barry Manilow, Smokey Robinson, and her main songwriter Burt Bacharach and other friends and admirers of Warwick’s music.

TJ Lubinsky who is the producer of “Then Came You,” says he grew up being a listener of the Warwick’s songs. Fun Fact:  Warwick recorded her first background session with Lubinsky’s grandfather, the founder of Savoy Records — in the 1940s. Warwick, who began singing at her grandfather’s church as a child — also talked about the origins of her chart-toppers, how she truly feels about “Do You Know the Way to San Jose” and how she created a fresh style of music with David and Bacharach.

Not only did her fans get to enjoy the showcase, the Paley Center brought in Larry King to talk to Warwick about her long career selling over 100 million records. Warwick talked about her memories in the music industry and she announced that she will be releasing a new album.

After watching her career flash before her eyes with the audience, the 77 year old singer said the following:

“I feel like I’ve truly been blessed.I’ve been fortunate enough to have people who have been loyal over the years to me and have enjoyed the music I’ve given them, as I have. I always say things happen the way they’re supposed to happen, and here I am.”
