“ATL royalty right here, straight up.” That's how Shorty Roc (@shortyrocnyc) brought the legendary DJ Scream (@djscream) onto the carpet for We Run The City TV (@werunthecitytv). “This is We Run The City TV, back like we never left,” he opened. “We're in the building with a legend.”

The interview was shot in front of the ELITE step-and-repeat, the same backdrop from The Cult album release party in Mableton, where the flyers billed DJ Scream as a special guest. His on-screen title said it plainly: ATL Legend | Big Facts.

Those T.I. Collabs

Shorty Roc came in as a fan. “We've been listening to your mixtapes,” he told him. “We've been listening to your collaborations with T.I. and a ton of other artists.”

DJ Scream kept it humble. “I feel like T.I. said it all,” he said. “I had a lot of good ones with a lot of good brothers.”

“Their Own Story, Their Own Flavor”

Then Shorty Roc asked the question on the screen: how is he feeling about the new artists on the scene? DJ Scream gave a big shout-out to 29 Skyy Ent (@29skyy_ent). “They came and did a radio interview with me,” he said.

What sold him was the authenticity. “I love the fact that they got their own story, their own flavor,” he said. “They ain't trying to sound like nobody, look like nobody. So I think the sky is… beyond the sky is the limit for them.”

“The Cult Album Release Party was a Movie and a Vibe!!!!” That's the word from @diamondpmc, and the recap reel backs it up. On Friday night, Oct. 30, 29 Skyy Ent (@29skyy_ent) took over Elite Hookah Lounge in Mableton (@eliteloungemableton) to celebrate THE CULT, the label's new album. The night opened in front of the ELITE step-and-repeat, where the orange mic made its rounds with quick interviews and big smiles for the camera. Shorty Roc (@shortyrocnyc) and The Khaliseum (@thekhaliseum) were on the media list for the night, and both are tagged in the recap.

THE CULT on the Big Screen

Inside, the lounge was packed wall to wall, with green and red lasers cutting across the room. The stage sat in front of a giant LED wall that flashed THE CULT cover art and a “29” wrapped in flames while the artists worked the mic one after another. Dancers hit the stage too, turning the album party into a full show.

The flyers said THE CULT would hit all platforms on Oct. 31, so look up 29 Skyy Ent and run it back.

Booked, busy and wearing New York like a crown. Shorty Roc (@shortyrocnyc) was on set in NYC for King Harris' (@the_next_king10) music video for his new song, “Stand Up.” The video was directed by his brother, @domani, and the booking came through @ceocheerrio of @theelitemodelsinc.

The set is a sea of white hooded suits under one hard blue spotlight, and one hat stands out: a black cap with NEW YORK across the front. That's Shorty Roc. “I made sure every camera found that NY hat,” he wrote. “Spot me in every shot, we dare you.” In the behind-the-scenes clip he's right over the shoulder of the man out front in the close-ups and holding the front line in the wide group shots.

“Grateful to Be Part of History”

Shorty Roc isn't holding back on the record. “This is definitely gonna be a hit song, and I'm grateful to be part of history,” he wrote, adding that King “got some BARS on this one.” His advice: download the song as soon as you can. He says it's on all platforms.

Can a simple "hey" start a beef? Not on her end. On The Shorty Roc NYC Podcast, @ms.juiccyyyy told Shorty Roc (@shortyrocnyc) she doesn't carry beef with anybody. "If you got beef with me, that's your own beef," she said.

Her rule is simple. If she sees a woman, she says hey and asks how she's doing. "If you get mad at my hey, you need to deal with the spirits within you," she said. In her view, if a hello bothers you, it's time to ask yourself where you are in life and why you aren't moving forward.

She ended on the line that ties it together: some people just want something to be angry at because they don't want to deal with the issues and the trauma within themselves. It fits what she has said on the show before about other women and envy: deal with your own issues, because she doesn't have time for it.

Some confessions take years to say out loud. On The Shorty Roc NYC Podcast, @ms.juiccyyyy looked back at her marriage and admitted it plainly: "I don't think that I was in love with him. I don't think I knew what love was, to be honest."

She was 20 when she said yes, only about two years out of high school. It was the first proposal she ever got, and she was still living in her mother's house. "It was just like, you're supposed to say yeah," she told Shorty Roc (@shortyrocnyc). Getting married felt like the way out and the way things were supposed to go, so that's what she did.

It's a story a lot of people know from the inside: young, eager to grow up, and following the script before knowing what they actually want. She has said before that she later filed for divorce and learned that love isn't about perfection. It's about working through it.

Most people go to an awards show to watch. Khaotic (@Khaotic305) and Scrappy (@ReallilScrappy) went to recruit. Midway through the 2nd Annual NXT Awards on Sunday, October 25, 2026, the two hosts grabbed the mic and told the room they're looking for new ladies to join the cast of Pick A Side, their show on @Nowthats_TV. The @thenxtawards ceremony filled @cocacolaroxy at The Battery Atlanta. With the crowd already on its feet, the pair brought the call straight to the people. "I want you up here so we can recruit," one of them told the audience, before pushing the whole building to make some noise. It wasn't a quick promo plug. It was an open invitation in a room full of people who live for this culture.

What Pick A Side Is About

Pick A Side grew out of the heartbreak both men talked through on Love & Hip Hop. It premiered on Now That's TV in April 2024, airing Wednesdays at 7 PM, Baller Alert reported. On the Baller Alert Show, the duo said they built the format around competition and drama while keeping creative control, after years of watching reality TV twist their stories. The NXT Awards stage was a natural spot to open the door again. The ceremony is powered by Now That's TV, the streaming network Teleau Belton launched in 2021, according to the event's press release.

Why It Matters

Independent TV is built in rooms like this one, where the people who might end up on screen are already in the crowd. The next Pick A Side cast could come straight out of Atlanta, and The Khaliseum was there when the search went public. The night before the drop, Atlanta's party kings opened the doors for an early listen, and The Khaliseum was on the list. Shorty Roc (@shortyrocnyc) and the @thekhaliseum staff covered the private DJ and media listening session for @iamtravisporter and DJ Spinz (@spinz) and their joint project Party Pack on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at @midtownsocialatl.

The session was invite-only, with Slapwoods (@slapwoods) as sponsor. DJs, media and industry insiders got to hear the project a day before it reached streaming services, with food and drinks on the house and the room fully in Atlanta mode.

Eleven Tracks of Pure Party

Party Pack arrived on July 24, 2026: 11 songs in about 23 minutes, released through Tunefreak Recordings and Hitmaker Distro, according to Apple Music. Hip Hop Vibe called it a return to the high-energy party sound the trio built in Atlanta's clubs. It pointed out that the guest list spans generations: Waka Flocka Flame, Rubi Rose, Roscoe Dash and Breskii. The full tape is also up on DJ Spinz's Audiomack page.

On the Carpet

Shorty Roc and the team kept the camera rolling on the carpet, talking with Travis Porter (@strapdafool included) and catching @roscoedash, @djrootsqueen, @mzcoxxx and Atlanta hip-hop historian @nuface. Nuface is known for documenting the culture and building a collection of rap memorabilia since he moved to Atlanta from Detroit, Certified Bootleg reported. The Khaliseum also streamed the release party live on Kick.

Why It Matters

Travis Porter helped give Atlanta's party records a national stage, so a new project with DJ Spinz is a real moment for the city. Being in the room before the music went public was a big deal for The Khaliseum. Shorty Roc and the staff, including @porchemadre, made sure fans got the carpet, the people and the energy before most of the world had heard a song. Thanks to @trubrandmedia for hosting, and salute to the Khaliseum crew for another night of documenting Atlanta hip-hop on their own terms.
