*On Tuesday, Jan. 15, the hosts of The Real teach viewers a few ways to tell when an online article may or may not be true, and address a recent “fake news” story about themselves. Co-host Loni Love gives The Real Royal Report, and is it ok for friends to discuss explicit details of personal relationships with each other?
Then The Real reaches out to an IRS employee in Memphis, TN – a single mom who has been affected by the recent government shutdown – and lends her a helping hand. The show will be reaching out to people in similar situations during the rest of the week.
Later, Temptation Island host Mark L. Walberg joins the ladies to talk about the return of the reality show, and also shares his surprising love of farming!

The Hosts Of The Real Put Those Rumors Down
Jeannie Mai: But one that actually hurt me is one that I read about us – that we were feuding, and that we were walking off set because of our salaries. And let me tell you – what I love about our unit is that the second we heard that, we immediately got on the chain and called each other [to Tamera Mowry-Housley] I left you voicemails, and our video messages – because it was so important for us to make eye contact and be like, “You good? Are you ok? This is cool, right?”
Adrienne Houghton: [to Tamera] I’m like, wait, I was in your room yesterday doing some things that are very friendly! [to the audience] No! Oh no! Not like that!
[The Real audience laughs and applauds]
Adrienne: No no no! No no no! Not like that! No! [To Tamera] Remember? Spanx?
Tamera: Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! Yes.
Jeannie: Smile! Smile! We’re live! Smile!
Adrienne: Guys! Not that friendly!
Loni Love: You just gave OK Magazine another headline!
Tamera: I know!
Adrienne: Come on!
Tamera: Not that line! Not that!
Adrienne: “Adrienne and Tamera Do Friendly Things In The Dressing Room!”
Tamera: We were sharing some things…
Adrienne: Yeah, and you’re just like – then the next day stuff like that comes out and you’re like, “Wait a minute,” you’re like…
Tamera: “What the hell?”
Adrienne: The crazy part is you almost have to ask yourself, “Who would believe this?” but sadly, people do.
Tamera: Who would write that?
Adrienne: Who would write that, who would believe that…
Tamera: Who would believe that?
Loni: The one thing is, is that we all have an ability to do interviews. If you’ve ever seen an interview from me, I tell the truth. I tell what’s on my mind, sometimes I tell the truth too much, OK?
Tamera: Me too.
Loni: The same thing with these other ladies, so if you’re hearing it from a source about this show, it’s not – no.
Jeannie: Yes.
Loni: “Cause if it’s coming from me or one of these ladies, it’ll be coming from us!
Jeannie: That’s right!
[The Real audience applauds]
Tamera: I’m not afraid to speak the truth!
Loni: And we will tell you right here on this show if there’s a issue; we will tell you on this show.
Jeannie: And I want to give a special message to Real Fam out there, I know you’re sitting on your couch and you’re watching this. Every single person who knows the show and knows us, especially all of you who make your way, coming here season after season – you know what’s real and I see you when you clap back at other people for making up nonsense and you stand up for us. Thank you for being that person.
[The Real audience applauds]
Jeannie: And thank you for flagging us when we’ll need to see something to come correct with it. You guys are bomb for that. That’s Real Fam.
